I found scrubs really confusing right now. Since the whole ''gentle scrubing'' craze started I couldn't decide on which side I'm on. If you don't know what I'm talking about, right now the whole beauty world (well, rather a couple of disciplined individuals) is talking how large grain scrubs are damaging for your skin and some even draw conclusions that the only face peels we should be using are the ones with acids. So the word on the street (aka the Internet) is that mechanical peels are bad and all types of acids are good. Like I said, I don't know what to think. Normally I like both types, I even think my thick, combination skin reacts better to scrubs with large grains. On the other hand, I don't want to use a scrub that's permanently damaging my skin. But, if you think about it, can't the AHA and BHA acids be more damaging if you constantly apply and mix them? I have no solution for you guys, but I know one scrub that's so gentle you can even use it every day.

It's Bioten's Skin moisture scrub cream for normal and combination skin, still like most of Bioten product it can be used on all skin types. This scrub smells so good, I can't even describe how nice the smell is. The texture is creamy with small grains (apricot stone particles) and it is more hydrating than any scrub I've ever used. On the packaging it says you should use it once or twice a week, but it's so gentle you can even use it every day (unless your skin is really sensitive). It hydrates the skin more than it exfoliates. If you want a fast, no fuss scrub, you can use it like that, or do a whole face massage with it. Facial massages are something I've discovered recently, you just apply a small amount off product all over the face and then you gently massage it for couple of minutes. It increases a blood flow to the face which is going to improve skin tonus and overall condition of the skin. I like to do them twice a week and they really made my skin look nicer and more fresh!
