It's not a secret that layering makes everything look better and well put together. One (and the most common) way to successfully layer is to wear a cardigan on top of your tops and under the coats. Or jackets if you prefer it. Thick cardigans like this one are my favourites for winter, especially if they have a pretty knit pattern. In my last post I wore a sweater with sleeves similar to these, I guess I have a thing for them. Mustard is quite a fun colour to wear, it's not too bright or overwhelming, but it's also not your obvious choice like black or gray. Styling cardigans is pretty easy, they will look good with anything. Throw them on top of jeans and T-shirt outfit, a skirt and a denim shirt, culottes and a cami... Whatever you choose it will turn out great.

Here I wore it over a simple dress, which is also a great thing you can do. Right now I'm experimenting with cuts a bit and trying out to see which ones go well together. A slouchy long sweater over a tight simple dress is the pairing of the cuts you don't see that often, but I think it works. It depends a lot on the type of the sweater. If it's just long and thin, it may look boring. On the other hand, the one that's a bit chunkier and bigger can complement a dress quite nicely. This one is from Zaful, it's sold out, but I found a similar one, check it out below.
