It's not a secret that you should work hard to achieve your goals. Sometimes we push ourselves to work all the time because we think it's the only way we can make anything happen. And I agree with that, I'm the first one who can't stop working when I'm on the roll. You know that feeling when you get in the zone and nothing besides the task you are completing seems to be important? There are times when I just can't sit still. If I'm not working on the blog, studying or doing something else I'll start fidgeting and feeling like I'm forgetting about a really important thing I have to do, even though that is not the case.
I used to think that working all the time is the best possible thing for both your career and personal life. There wouldn't be a weekend when I wouldn't make my schedule as full as possible and run from one thing to another.

Now I know this is a wrong way to go. Because what goes after the busy weekend is you feeling moody for the rest of the week. You will feel so exhausted that you won't have enough energy and concentration to do all those tasks that are really important.
It's especially hard to have some time for yourself in today's era of social media, blogs, different websites and commercials, when we constantly feel like something is going on and we are not a part of it. The truth is we are just more aware of everything that's going on. Also, the problem is today a lot of new job profiles consist of mixing your private and professional life.
My advice is to have an exceptionally lazy day from time to time. Sunday is usually the best day to do this. Sleep in, drink your coffee for hours while flicking through your favourite magazines, make yourself a big fat breakfast, you deserve it. Leave your phone alone and don't check it every five minutes. The social media world will survive without your input for couple of hours. After a lazy Sunday you'll have the energy to face any working week.
