Straight cut skirt

This is a skirt I've been loving lately, it reminds me of the 90s skirts and this infact is a vintage 90s skirt. 😆 You might be wondering what's the difference between a pencil skirt and a straight cut one, best way to explain is that straight cut skirts get a bit wider at the hips (just a bit though) while pencil skirts keep the tight silhouette all the way down. I also like pencil skirts a lot, but maybe more for autumn and winter since they look nicer on when they are made out of thicker materials. One other thing to remember about pencil skirts is that since they are super tight sometimes you can't walk as fast in them. As I discovered today same goes for this straight cut one.

When it comes to clothes I don't collect many things, especially lately since I started going through my closet and keeping only the items I truly love. I do keep a small collection of beautiful vintage pieces I gathered over the years, I started searching for them about eight years ago. Some of them are my moms as well, she occasionally finds clothes that she doesn't wear that's so pretty and still wearable, like a beautiful 80s jacket she gave me couple of weeks ago. Around the same time I started learning more about vintage clothes I feel in love with vintage kimonos. Besides bags and vintage hair combs that's the only thing I looked at as a collectible rather than something I would wear. My opinion about the other two also changed a bit, I only kept two beautiful hair combs and I wear all of my vintage bags, none of them gather dust or just lay around.

Another summer style post, this time holiday edition. I said before that I love summer fashion, mainly because you have so many options. From boho to retro looks, they all work and look good. Outfits with a vintage vibe are definitely my favourite for the summer, but all the items and trends I mentioned in this post can be worn with any style.
