Camel coats with white shirts

March 30, 2024

Although this looks like a super simple outfit it kind of gives a Pinterest vibe. I am still not used to camel wrap coats, but I'm warming up to this one. Even here I didn't wear it completely wrapped up. Ever since the weather started transitioning to spring it made sense to me to switch up my darker coats for a camel one.

Boots over leggings

December 25, 2023

One of the looks I wore a lot this season, leggings with boots and oversized sweaters. The trick here is of course the silhouette, when you wear boots with leggings you need an oversized top/jacket combo to even it out.

Quilted jacket

November 24, 2023

As you can probably tell I love this silhouette where you waist is cinched, it just gives such a nice overall look and a shape to an outfit. Funny thing is that besides coats I also have other jackets like this one here that are belted and I even have one I got when I was fifteen so probably I've always liked how they look on. Quilted jackets are more of an autumn staple for me while I wear bigger puffer jackets in the winter.

Boho knitted dress

October 24, 2023

Here's a dress I wanted to find for a while, actually I was looking for a long knitted dress in a similar color. Tried to find it, even on those Instagram pages that sell knitted clothes, but with no luck so I just gave up until I found this one yesterday. It's still quite warm so I was able to wear it today, love the boho vibes of it as well as this color.

Slip dresses with sweaters

October 19, 2023

Ages ago (five actually) I did this post with a slip dress and an oversized sweater, it's pretty much the same look, just with slightly different clothes. This sweater is a bit thinner and a slip dress is more silky and longer I think. It is such a cute autumn look, since it's the last chance for us to pair sweaters with these type of dresses, until spring at least.

Draped blouse

October 12, 2023

Beautiful draping in clothes is my soft spot so naturally I was drawn to this blouse. First I've seen it in in a different color and it was even by a different brand but it was sold out and impossible to find so I kind of forgot about it until one day I saw it in H&M store by accident. I fell like draped clothes is not having its moment right now, everything is structured of tight so flowy pieces like this do come as a bit of novelty. Although there's nothing new about draping, it's been here for millenniums.

Oversized blazer

October 11, 2023

Another oversized blazer I've found recently and I think it looks really cute with autumn looks. Here I wore it over a simple linen shirt and a pair of leggings for a super simple look. This is a type of an oversized cut that goes with so many outfits and you've probably seen many similar looks all over the place.

Half linen dress

October 10, 2023

They say you shouldn't really wear linen mixed with other materials, meaning the fabric itself, but this dress is a bit different, made out of two different fabric pieces sewn together (cotton top and linen bottom). I loved this dress the moment I've seen it, the cut is just perfect and it looks so good on.

White boho skirts

September 20, 2023

These type of skirts have been all around lately, similar versions though, they are actually a lot more boho, but they made me remember I had this one. I didn't wear it for a while mainly because skirts this long come to be not so practical, still I love the way they look.

Pinterest outfit ideas

September 19, 2023

Another outfit with this skirt in a couple of months, now when I remembered that I have it I though I should wear it more. I was inspired by an outfit I've seen on Pinterest a while back. This combo of an everyday look with a beach bag looked so cute to me so I decided to recreate it.

Tie dye dress

September 13, 2023

The return of tie dye dresses made me so happy, these are perfect when you don't want to wear prints like florals, stripes etc. but you also don't want to wear a solid color dress. They are, of course, another element of 90s fashion that ''came back''. For now I've loved all of them, it is after all one of my favorite fashion decades.

Draped slip dress

September 11, 2023

Not the first post with this dress, but I love how it looks on since it has a kind of a draped effect in the front. Normally slip dresses don't come with this kind of draping, even when they are draped it's that type od flow draping all along the dress. I think it gives an interesting twist to regular slip dress.

Cropped pants

September 10, 2023

One of my favorites for the end of summer and beginning of autumn are these type of pants cropped above the ankles. They are perfect for late summer early autumn outfits because they go well with summery tops like this one I'm wearing here and they can also go well with longer sleeves and even jackets.

90s jumpsuit

September 09, 2023

Another post with this vintage jumpsuit. I actually got it on one of those Instagram pages that sell vintage clothes. I loved this print so much and the cut is really nice. Also, I got this same pair of espadrilles in beige, I had one in black already.

Black linen dress

August 27, 2023

Never have I ever thought that a black linen dress can look this cute. Since I'm kind of trying to cut down on fast fashion when I'm buying it I try to go for more natural materials. And I also had a birthday discount and wanted to get an another dress, but that one was sold out. So I found the prettiest replacement, not only did I like this 90s cut and the fact it was a linen dress, I also loved the embroidery in the top part and the buttons in the same fabric as the dress.

Dusty pink kimono

August 23, 2023

This is one of my oldest ''kimonos'' and I love wearing it for the beach, I almost always bring it when I'm traveling. It can also be worn over other outfits, not just for the beach. Here I paired it with a simple black pair of shorts over a bikini, of course.

Linen wide leg pants

August 09, 2023

Continuing with the wide leg pants vibe from couple of posts ago, here's one post with my favorite linen pants. I was looking for a beige or a similar shade linen pants, but the only ones I could find in a cut that I liked were these in a light pink shade which kind of looks beige in the photos. I paired them with a black top that I already wrote about to create this silhouette I liked a lot. These are some of the best type of pants you can wear in the summer, they are so light and practical.

Back to denim

August 07, 2023

Talking about sustainable fashion, here's a denim shirt I've had for nine years. I found it yesterday when I was organizing my closet and I also found this skirt. The skirt is super old as well considering it's vintage and I got it in 2018. I think the skirt itself is probably from the 90s judging by the cut and material. I added flats since it's been a bit colder this morning and the shoes kind of gave me the same vibe a skirt had. And of course my bohoish bag so I can carry all of my stuff around.

Wide leg pants

July 29, 2023

Another post with wide leg pants, this time my favorite beige pair. I love the way you can tie these, with a longer tie around the waist, none of my other wide leg pants have this detail. Weather was a bit cooler in the last couple of days so I even had a chance to wear a long sleeved blouse, this one has a bit of a 90s touch with corset like cut and mesh sleeves. When you put them together they create quite a cute silhouette.

Minimalistic ''slip'' dress

July 22, 2023

Although slip dresses look great, sometimes they can be to tight so they'll keep moving up while you walk or make it much harder to even walk in them. It doesn't happen with every slip dress though, but I find that most of them do this. Also, they sometimes look to elegant to be worn during the day or are made out of synthetic materials so you don't want to wear them all day long. The solution I found is these dresses that do have a cut that looks similar to slip dresses, but they get wider in the bottom part creating this more casual (and comfortable) silhouette. The actually cut in these comes from tennis dresses while the top part and straps come from a slip dress style. This one reminds me of similar 90s dresses we used to wear as kids. And it's made out of cotton so you can wear it all day long and it will still stay comfortable.
