Makeup inspiration for this week is Elizabeth Taylor. I wanted to do classy and sophisticated but wearable look and her makeup was a perfect choice for inspiration because it's simple yet effective.
I chose one of her simpler looks that is perfect for every day. For foundation I used, like always MAC Mineralized skinfinish natural in Light. I applied it with Real Techniques Buffing brush.
Under the foundation I used Bourjois Healthy mix concealer to cover dark circles and couple of blemishes I had.
Her skin is quite glowy so I decided to use NYX cream blush in Natural, I just applied it with my fingers all over the cheeks.
No surprise in highlighter department, like most of the time I used MAC Cream colour base in Pearl.
I created the eye look using simple eyeshadow from Coastal Scents Warm palette all over the lids and then I smudged a bit of black eyeshadow (form the same Coastal Scents palette) close to my lashes.
After that I lined my upper lashes with black eyeliner (another all time favourite Bourjois Liner Pinceau).
On my waterline I used Avon Shupershock liner and on the lashes L'Oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga mascara.
For the lips I mixed Revlon Super lustrous lipstick creme in Rosewine and Rimmel Lasting finish by Kate Moss lipstick in 1.
Most prominent feature on her face are her brows, so make sure to use darker brow shadow than you normally would. I used the black eyeshadow form Coastal Scents palette again and filled my brows a bit thicker than usual.
i love it!! xoxo

DeleteWhat a pretty lip color! I think you totally nailed the look. I love Revlon lip products, but I have never tried any Rimmel ones.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Rimmel lipsticks are great, especially the ones from Kate Moss collection.
