On the beach last thing you need is heavy makeup or supper styled hair. You still need some beauty and makeup products. I try to keep it at the bare minimum and take only things I know I'll really need. So here is what I carry in my beach beauty bag every summer.

-Body sunscreen
I never buy expensive body sunscreens because you have to reapply them very often and you go through the bottle very fast. Also, Ive never found a difference between expensive and inexpensive sunscreens they seem to work the same. My all time favourites are Nivea sunscreens, they are easy to apply, won't make my oily skin break out and I've never burned while wearing them. I usually get Nivea Sun Protect and bronze SPF 30. Although my skin is pale I tan easily and don't burn that easy so I'm fine with this SPF. If your skin is pale and prone to burning make sure to reapply your sunscreen very often or get the sunscreen with higher SPF.

-Face sunscreen
Although you can use one sunscreen for both your body and face I like to have sunscreen for my face only because I think delicate skin on the face needs more care. I used to be a huge fan of Murad Oil free Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30 and I still love it, but it's a bit thick for my taste so I switched to Bioderma Photoderm Akn Mat SPF 30 which is just right.

-Thermal water
After swimming I like to spray my face with thermal water and wipe it off with a tissue. La Roche Posay Thermal Water is the one I usually take with me.

-Lip products
Like every lip products junkie I like to have them with me at all times. For the beach I always have lip balms with SPF, this year I used Maybelline Baby lips in Quenched and Deborah Milano Rossetto Shine creator in 7. I also like to use tinted lip balm to add a bit of colour to my lips, this time I choose Maybelline Baby lips in Cherry me.

-Small perfume
I love coconut scent and I carry little coconut perfume so I can spray it on my clothes and on the skin if I'm going somewhere right after the beach. Don't spray perfume on your skin directly while you are at the beach,  it will burn when the chemicals from perfume react with sunlight. You probably recognise this one from my previous posts, it's mini coconut perfume from Yves Rocher.

-Hair tie and bobby pins
You definitely need them to tie your hair while you are sunbathing or swimming.

-Mirror
Nothing worse than white sunscreen marks on your face that everyone is ignoring because they don't want to mention them and offend you. Make sure to have a little mirror in your beach bag to prevent this situation and to use while you are fixing your hair or applying lip balm.

I hope this post will help you pick the necessities for your beach beauty bag, what do you usually take with you to the beach?
