Almond and soy milk are my favourite regular milk alternatives. The ones in the store often contain sugar and other added ingredients and it's super easy to make your own almond milk at home.

You'll need:
-one cup of almonds (150 grams)
-four cups of water (one liter)
-blender
-bottle or a jug for storage
-tea strainer

Soak the almonds in a bowl with a little bit of water for two hours (you should pour just enough water to cover the almonds). You're supposed to leave them overnight (seven to eight hours), but I usually leave them for only two hours, it's quicker and the results are the same. After the soaking pour out the water and put the almonds in a blender. Add four cups of bottled (filtered) water and blend it for couple minutes. Get the jug ready, and pour the mixture through the stainer directly into the jug. You can also add some cinnamon or vanilla extract if you like. The milk can stay in the fridge up to five days. 



Bademovo i sojino mleko su moja omiljena zamena za obično mleko. Kupovna najčešće sadrže šećer i dodatne sastojke, a mnogo je lako napraviti bademovo mleko kod kuće. 

Šta je potrebno:
-150 grama badema
-litar vode
-blender
-staklena flaša ili bokal 
-cediljka za čaj

Potopite bademe na dva sata u činijicu sa malo vode (trerba da bude taman toliko vode da pokrije sve bademe). Trebalo bi da ih ostavite preko noći (sedam do osam sati), ali ja ih obično ostavim samo dva sata, brže je, a rezultati su isti. Posle potapanja prospite vodu i stavite bademe u blender. Dodajte litar flaširane vode i sve izblendujte nekoliko minuta. Spremite bokal i sitajte tečnost kroz cediljku direktno u bokal. Možete da dodate i cimet ili ekstrakt vanile po ukusu. Ovako napravljeno mlek može da stoji u frižideru do pet dana.
