Like I wrote in yesterday's post, next to corduroy skirts, tweed skirts go great with winter outfits as well. Although I think they all look stylish and beautiful, my favourite kind of tweed skirts are the ones in black and white like the skirt I'm wearing here. They remind me of old school skirt and blazer sets (which are also on trend right now). What makes tweed the perfect winter fabric is the fact that it's made of wool. Normally it's quite thick and warm so it's one of the warmest fabrics for skirts (besides actual wool).

Tweed skirts look amazing with turtlenecks and as I mentioned, tweed blazers. Here I wore mine with this simple black sweater and a pair of black heels. I would usually pair a similar sweater with jeans or pants, but I thought it would also look cute with this skirt as well. As far as coats go, this one has a pattern different form the pattern of the skirt, but I think they ended up looking good together.
