Mules is a word that sounds so ugly to me that I didn't even want to put it in the post title on its own. However, I do like mules and I think they are one of the rare slipper trends of the moment you can actually wear without looking like a fashion victim. The word is actually french and it was first used to describe slippers with closed toes. You don't know what happiness is until you find your perfect pair of wooden mules. They are very comfortable and wearable, you get all the benefits of high heels without sore feet. And they make clogging sounds when you walk, which is always a plus in my book, it's maybe weird but I love shoes that make sounds.
