One of my favourite type of posts is New Year's lookbooks. Whether they are those super obvious holiday outfits where everything is red, gold and sparkly, or more elegant black tie looks, I love them equally. And the best thing is that this year I got to do my posts with Ana, which just makes everything much more fun. Last year we both did the usual red holiday look (you can check them here and here) and I also did a more formal version. So this time we thought we should go all out and wear floor length gowns. You don't get so many chances to wear them during the year, so why not take the New Year's eve as an opportunity to pull them off. I'm not gonna lie, floor length gowns are not the easiest to wear, you do need a pair of really high heels and someone to help you down the stairs 😂, but they are so worth it!

When it comes to styling them, I recommend finding the dress with a perfect cut (like these we are wearing) so you can wear minimal jewelry and accessories. I opted for a pair of gold earrings and this simple and effective clutch. Ana went with a bit bolder jewelry with rhinestones and added a pair of snake skin heels to the whole look and I think it all goes so well together! We also did another New Year's eve look and it will be up on our blogs soon! That one is a bit more festive and sparkly (seriously, my dress is super sparkly). I'm not sure if you can tell from these photos, maybe from the first one, but the dress I'm wearing here also has sparkles in it!
