It's that time of the year again, when Sephora launches its Christmas collection. I've been a huge fan since 2011. and Sweet cake Christmas theme, if you remember that collection we can seriously be friends (no one seems to remember it except me 😂). Back then they only did a couple of different Christmas themed products and collections have grown exponentially larger and better. This year especially, all the bloggers I've talked to agreed it's the best one so far. This year's theme is Winter wonderland. Although I'm a sucker for regular red&gold Christmas colours (khm, khm, I like traditional stuff) I liked this concept as well. The little fox you'll see on the products is this years mascot and the main smell is Sephora's Cotton flower, a nice powdery scent. Besides the Sephora collection gifts, they also feature other brands Christmas products and I find those are a lot of fun as well. So what exactly should you check out at Sephora this festive season?

Christmas crackers

I know, weird item to start with, but I'm always into the most Christmassy stuff first. And nothing beats Christmas crackers in this department. A lot of brands have them, but I was most impressed with holiday Pumpkin from TooCoolForSchool (which I'm not, I really loved school).  It contains a small (30 ml) version of their Pumpkin sleeping pack and this mask is amazing. I've been careful with sleeping masks since the 2014. Freeman sleeping mask fiasco, it had coconut oil which made my skin break out badly. That's all behind me and this mask is actually an enzyme peel. You just put it on, go to bed and wake up with the prefect skin. What's not to like? Also, I've been super excited about opening the Liquid Palisade cracker, it contains an Easy-peel Polish barrier, basically what I always wanted when I messed up my nail polish, a barrier to protect your fingers from all that glamorous nail art. Marble nails anyone?

La Piñata

Why not make things more fun and include a pinata in the mix? And what's more fun than full size candy bars in your pinata, well makeup, of course! Some beauty bits as well. Inside you'll find a Sephora mascara, Cream lip stain (possibly my favourite lip product ever), nail file, hair tie, Cotton Flower bath and shower goodies, lip mask, an eye mask, liquid eyeliner and a Lotus overnight face mask. This mask is seriously good, I have one more (from the advent calendar) and can't wait to use it again!

Bath and body stuff

An old tradition of many shower, bath and body options in Sephora Christmas collection continues. This years colours are as gentle as the Cotton Flower scent and bath lovers will enjoy all the bath bombs, salts, pearls, and even confetti! Bath confetti are my favourite! Shower gel is filled with glitter and it also smells amazing (like Cotton Flower, of course). They also have a hand set that features a hand mask, hand cream and a little thermophore you can use to warm yourself up in cold weather.

An advent calendar

Beauty advent calendars are the best, even better than chocolate ones we used to have as kids. Although I promised myself I will open it slowly, day by day before Christmas, I ended up opening it couple of days after I got it. That's why it looks like this, sorry for not waiting so it would look prettier in photos. In case you wanted to be surprised with the content of the calendar, I won't write it down, but if you want to see it, here's the photo with all the beauty goodies that are inside.

Other brands

If you thought Sephora Collection is pretty, wait until you see what other brands have in store. My favourite is Too Faced Christmas version of their Melted matte lipsticks, it smells like Christmas cookies and happiness! The colour is called Gingerbread Man. Frank Body also has some nice goodies, like their Lip Scrub, which is the best sugar lip scrub I've ever tried. And it smells like coffee (which is one of the ingredients), a huge plus in my book. This Works Sleep stars was the biggest surprise to me, because I thought it contains a bath bomb, but then I realized it's actually a trio of their best sleep products. It contains a Sleep balm, Sleep plus pillow spray and Deep sleep pillow spray. They all come in mini versions, but big enough to test them out and decide if you want to buy a bigger product. I liked them a lot, especially the Sleep balm. Another brand I just discovered is Lanolips, but I'll do a separate post on them. So far I'll just tell you that Lemonaid Lip Treatment is amazing!

Makeup

Makeup collection is solid like every year, with everything from eye and face palettes to brushes. One of the best purchases you can get from Sephora's Christmas collection is definitely a big palette with eyeshadows, lipglosses, eyeliners, brow powders, face powders, blushes and correctors. They have one every year, and this time it's Into The Stars Palette. I tried the Winter Queen Palette, it contains two blushes, a bronzer and a highlighter. Bronzer is nice and light and the highlighter is one of the best highlighters I've ever tried. It's so smooth and creamy and gives me a pretty subtle glow.
